Welcome to the ZFS Notification OAuth Server home page. This service is used to validate OAuth 2.0 credentials for use with ZFS email notifications.
How it works:
- Navigate to your server IP address on port 9001 to access the Houston UI.
- Open the ZFS module.
- Click on the Notification Bell icon.
- Click on the Gear icon.
- Select "Email Notifications."
- From the "Email Provider" dropdown, select either Google (OAuth) or SMTP.
- If you select Google (OAuth), click the "Authenticate with Google" button.
- The OAuth consent screen will appear for your chosen provider.
- Log in with your credentials and grant consent for the Houston UI to obtain an access token on your behalf.
- A token will be generated and securely stored on your server. You will then be redirected back to the Houston UI.
- Once the token has been generated, click "Save" to complete the setup.
- Going forward, whenever a ZFS event occurs, you will receive email notifications automatically.
- The token will be refreshed as needed to ensure uninterrupted email delivery.
- If you choose SMTP, you will be prompted to enter your SMTP server details instead of OAuth authentication.
